Hoodman HEYESW Overview
An oversized Eyecup for Sony a1, a7S III, and a7 IV from Hoodman, it's designed to reduce eye fatigue as well as keep sunlight from entering your viewfinder. It has a self-locking mount that keeps it on your camera eyepiece, and it has a flat bottom in order to clear the camera LCD. It's made of hypoallergenic silicone rubber for comfortable use.

Improvement to original
Hoodman Eyecup snapped into position according to directions perfectly and seems very secure. This eyecup keeps extraneous light from interfering with composing shots when looking towards the sun.
Best for anyone with glasses
I have tried 4 other eyecups (ie everything I could find on the market) since I got the A1, none were effective in bright sun which was very frustrating. This one nails it. Does the job perfectly and doesnt interfere with the screen.

Awesome usability improvement with bright sun
I've been putting up with stray light in my Sony A1 for a while now-in some conditions it's a serious usability impairment to have the sun strafing my left eye as I use the EVF. The Hoodman eyecup completely eliminates the problem of sunlight from the side causing eyestrain. Slots right in and works perfectly with the EVF and its detection mechanism.
Terrible Product
It fell off the first time I used it. Will not replace. A waste of money. I put factory eyecup back on. I lived without one of these fancy dodads for years, and I will continue to live without it.

It does the job, ive had a generic one on my A7iv that ive purchased somewhere else , but this turned out way better.
