As originally introduced in the VT-7 Stereo Tube Compression Amplifier, the gain reduction circuit utilizes readily available tubes to deliver classic compressor performance while employing an innovative Pulse Width Modulation control circuit as a driver. This combination results in a studio mainstay that delivers comprehensive dynamics control without imparting unwanted tonal artifacts. The VNE retains a beautifully transparent sonic signature, while also giving the engineer freedom to deploy as subtly or aggressively as their tastes dictate.
