A lot of fun features
These lights do a wonderful job as they perform wonderfully. They aren't the brightest lights out there, but at this price point, their brightness is comparable to just about everything else like it. Not only that, but they have special themes, such as party modes, a paparazzi flash effect, and a lightning effect. These are pretty cool. The app process is simple and perfect for making quick changes to your setup.

This is a great light! Love this light because it would help to do the job. I use it for my youtube channel video. Overall easy to set up, beautiful light!
This light works well and fulfills my needs
I needed a light with more power and versatility and this is exactly what I wanted. It can be used in bi-color mode or as an rgb fixture and also has effects. It comes with a reflector attachment which boosts the light a great deal, and helps contain the spread. But also has a bowens mount so you can attach a variety of other attachments. I already owned a GVM soft box that came with a P80S light, and now I can use it with this light too. I'll probably buy another one. Or get a GVM lantern globe softbox which I think would be a great accessory for this light, if I wanted an even softer light from this fixture. It comes with a diffuser you can attach right in from of the LED to soften the light even more (see picture I uploaded). Or I could just use it as is for a harder light without any of the diffusing attachments. The yoke allows you to mount the light horizontally, so it can be used as an overhead light or backlight which makes it even more versatile. The GVM app that works with this light is very helpful and is extremely easy/intuitive to use. This light also comes with a case for storage and easy transfer, so bringing it on location is simple and convenient. Again I wanted a light that I could use a variety of ways and this works for my needs very well.
Changed the way I create content
You do get some light settings to play around with, including dealing with the color temperature. There is a wide variety of change between the available levels of the color temperature. You can go from very cool and pure white, to very warm almost very orange-like. I tend to stick with this particular settings since I like the warm tone in my videos as I'm sure you've noticed up until this. But being able to have many options to cycle between is always very useful to have. So how do I mostly use it? Well, I use it as my main light for filming this a-roll. In fact, I'm using it right now and I think it's great. I tend to keep it in a warmer setting, but not the warmest so that they can still look natural enough. One thing to note is that this is a really powerful light, so for me to get a comfortable brightness, I have to keep this light at around 10% of its maximum potential. This is insane because it just goes to show how unbelievably bright it can get, but I don't see myself going maybe past 20% for any circumstance. The other settings are just too powerful, but I'm sure that, that feature would come in handy if you have to keep this light at a distance. So again, the flexibility is really nice. Overall, I really like this light and think its worth the money.
Versatile
I like this light a lot. Being able to change the color temperature is really nice. Being able to change the color to whatever I want is even nicer. Solid interface. Seems well made. The case it comes with is top notch.
Fantastic RGB Light weight light!
As a film/tv teacher this light is fantastic. I'm always looking for the best bang for the buck and this light fits that description. The students can use it for a variety of situations. It gives off a large amount of light when put at 100% intensity, but can be dialed down very low when less light is needed. Having the ability to use it in bi-color mode or RGB is also fantastic. It's like 2 lights in one. The fact, that it is Bowen's mount only adds to its flexibility as there is a bunch of different accessories you can purchase and mount to the front. Like different size/shape softboxes, fresnel barn doors... or just stick to the reflector that is provided. You can also just use the provided cap diffuser to soften the light. Having an app gives you remote control of the light which is also helpful. Being LED is good too because the light is powerful, but doesn't get too hot for students to handle. This is like the Swiss army knife of lights for us because it can be used in a bunch of different scenarios and set-ups, which is great for my budget. And the students love it because it is very lightweight too.
Cool effects
This is a great RGB light. The upgrades are awesome. COB RGB, excellent light with the very easy to accessorise Bowens mount. Like it with the cool effects.
