Designed as an extension of the GVM PD line of pocket LEDs, the 60W PL60B Bi-Color Pocket LED Monolight brings the option of external battery power to run the light in the field. The PL60B has the flexibility of a bi-color 2700 to 6800K CCT while allowing you to hold the light in your hand, thanks to its included metal handle. With a high CRI rating of 97, the PL60B reproduces accurate colors. This extremely compact 5.8 x 3 x 2.8" fixture weighs only 1.3 lb, making it a portable lighting solution for location work. A local screen and a single red knob on the back of the light shows your chosen color, intensity, and other essential settings. The GVM PL60B comes with a reflector, an AC power supply, an NP-F battery plate power box for optional batteries, and a convenient carry case for storage and safe transportation.
GVM Mount
The fixture's GVM proprietary mount lets you mount the included reflector for an output of up to 9400 lux at 3.3'.
12 Creative Effects
The PL60B features creative effects for lighting simulations, including lightning, CCT loop, candle, bad bulb, TV, paparazzi, explosion, pulsing, strobe, fire, fireworks, and welding.
12 Different Light Sources
If you need to reproduce a specific light source, the PL60B allows the quick selection of tungsten, HMI 5600, HMI 6000, studio lamp, sodium lamp, halogen, arc lamp, candle, sunset/sunrise, daylight, overcast sky, or CFL cool white.
Control Methods
- An integrated screen offers a simple display, while a red knob provides onboard control of the light.
- Use the GVM app to control the PL60B from a distance using iOS or Android smartphones.
- Bluetooth mesh networking is available for group control of GVM devices.
Efficient Heat Dissipation
If the shooting environment requires silence, the fixture can be set to a convenient silent mode. The PL60B is efficient in dissipating heat with integrated heat sinks and a fan, so you don't have to worry about noise interfering with your production. The fan operates in three modes: smart, high-speed, and silent.
AC & Optional Battery Power
Suitable for a variety of lighting setups, the PL60B runs on AC power thanks to the included adapter and cord, but it will also run on two separately available NP-F batteries when AC power is unavailable. GVM includes the battery power box.
