GVM GVM-VCC Overview
Capture your uncompressed HDMI camera video or gameplay, as well as analog audio source material, to your computer via USB with the GVM 4K HDMI to USB 3.0 Video Capture Device. Featuring loop-through HDMI input and output, the capture device passes UHD 4K video through for downstream devices while simultaneously converting your signal to USB video for easy ingestion by your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.
You can also input mic- and line-level audio via 3.5mm input jacks, and the device will send that to your computer via USB as well, and it has a 3.5mm TRS output jack for headphones/active speaker (not included), which makes this unit suitable for live gaming and videoconferencing. Compatible with UVC and UAC protocols, the capture device is plug-and-play on your computer via the USB port, and it is also bus-powered, so no additional power is required.

Awesome way to capture video

I love to record games that I play in my PS4 (until I get find a PS5, anyway)! and this little tool is great for capturing video that I can watch later. It hooks directly to a PC or Mac and is SUPER easy to setup. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for video capturing features.
Perfect for a beginner

This is great for recording from consoles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you wanted to capture video from consoles, this is a pretty solid piece. I was thinking about creating some videos. The only issue I had was that the manual was out of date for the latest version of OBS. They should replace that explanation with something like a QR code for an up-to-date explanation. All I had to do to get it to work was set the �resolution/fps type� to �device default� and it worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box this GVM 4K HDMI to USB 3.0 Video Capture Device is ready to go. Included is a double end USB-A cord. The inputs available are DC5V power, HDMI input/output, audio output, microphone and audio inputs and a USB output. It was quite simple to connect my devices to my laptop. Instructions for audio / video capturing was easy to follow as well as the menus. Video was quite clear with no issues. Audio lagged a bit but not enough to really make a difference.
Great for the beginner streamer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previuosly tried OBS and Streamlabs, and found no issues using this with either one. Video stream is clear and can't really find any fault in it. Tried 4k using both PS5 and Xbox Series X, only downside is it will only do 30 fps in 4K. Expected since its not using usb-c/thunderbolt, just usb3. Its simple and easy to setup/use. This will do just fine for any beginning streamer.
