Godox MS300-V Overview
With a guide number of 190', the MS300-V Studio Flash Monolight from Godox is a 5800K flash source that replaces the original 150W halogen lamp model with a 10W LED modeling lamp that draws very little power with great brightness. It features a 0.1 to 1.8 second recycling time with flash durations as short as 1/2000 sec. Power is variable from 1/32 to full power while the 10W LED modeling light is adjustable from 5 to 100%. Triggering options include sync cord, optical, test button, and wireless power control. The MS300-V is ready to run on 110 to 120 VAC mains power.

Good, but not for me
This light is small, lightweight, and great value for the money. Unfortunately the recycle time just wasn't quick enough for me in studio and I need a unit with a brighter modeling light at full power.
Inexpensive entry into studio flash
I got this as an affordable way to touch my toes into studio lighting. Much cheaper than adding another speed light. Simple and works well paired with the Godox trigger.

Excellent Budget Studio Flash
I bought this light as a back up from some older tank-y lights that get really hot. I wasn't expecting much from this light given the price, but I was shocked at the quality. This is a no brainer purchase for anyone who needs quality flash lighting with not hot modeling light. I used this with the 7' Impact Umbrella and it performed really well for some portraits. I ended up using this as the key light. Check out the sample photo while I was testing lighting. I also captured a photo with the Full Size Spyder Color Checker, so you can see if there is any color shifting. I didn't notice any. These photos are unprocessed out of the EOS R with an RF 24-105 F4 at about 70mm.
