Quick to install and it works!
The part came without any instructions, but following a YouTube video I found, it was pretty simple to install: remove 4 screws (need a tiny Phillips head screwdriver), detach a cable from the old shoe, and reverse the process with the new part. The entire operation took just a couple minutes and I was back in business with my TT685S Flash. The more amazing thing about this part is that in a culture of No user serviceable parts inside they sell it at all... the old shoe broke when a tripod that was holding the flash off-camera tipped over on some uneven ground. I thought I would have to purchase a whole new flash and was so pleased that a part existed to actually repair it.
