Offering a soft wraparound quality thanks to its long, narrow form factor, 1024 bright LEDs, and twice the width and power of its SSL-series cousins, the 36 x 8" Soft Strip Daylight LED Light from Genaray is a versatile fixture with features that are useful in the studio or on location. The light has a color temperature that's a solid daylight-balanced 5600K with a very high CRI/TLCI rating of 96.7/99�your assurance of superior accuracy in color reproduction. Using the included dimmer, the light intensity is variable from 0 to 100% without flicker, opening the door to high frame rate video and high-speed still shooting.
The power-saving light produces an output of 3520 lux at 3' while consuming just 112W of power, helping to keep the temperature on your set cool. And since it runs barely warm to the touch, it allows you to work close to the subject without causing discomfort or accidental damage
Thanks to its lollipop mount, the long, narrow fixture can be used vertically or horizontally. In vertical orientation, the SSL-836 is ideal for use as a sidelight or dramatic lighting. It also creates long, elegant reflections when shooting products. In horizontal mode, the light has a wraparound quality with appealing falloff at the top and bottom of the frame, and it is ideal for use as a hair light or background light.
The SSL-836 has a broad 110-degree beam spread which can be modified and controlled by its two-way barndoors. The fixture comes with a multi-voltage adapter that makes it ready for worldwide use, but it can also run on optional V-mount batteries when AC power is unavailable. A case is included to store and transport the light.
