In this day and age when data protection is of paramount importance, reliably degauss tapes and hard drives as well as physically destroy hard drives, while creating an audit-worthy record with the Degauss Destroy Package with TS-4XT, PD-5, SSD-1, Scan-1X, Data Eliminator Cart , IRONCLAD Degausser from Garner. Effective 2021, new NSA hard drive sanitization standards require both degaussing and physical destruction before the media is removed from its secure environment. The system destroys all data on tapes and hard drives (including top-secret data), then the PD-5 physically destroys the media. A wheeled cart carries your package securely mounted, so you can take it from room-to-room in your facility.
The PD-5 features include 10+ tons of crushing force, it crushes helium (He) drives, a fast 20-second cycle time, a sturdy crush chamber, and it has an electric driver motor with no messy hydraulics that can crush up to 1800 2.25" HDDs in an hour. The included SSD-1 ensures secure destruction of data stored on solid-state drives, including laptop SSDs and solid-state hybrid drives (SSHDs) as well as flash, compact flash, thumb, and other USB drives. It has the piercing power of 90 spikes punctures from top and bottom to perforate and waffle media, demolishing the individual memory chips and preventing data from being retrieved.
The SCAN-1X series generates media destruction reports complete with date, time, user ID, serial number, and destruction verification. These detailed reports provide the audit-worthy documentation needed to verify data erasure and destruction.
The Garner TS-4XT 30,000 Gauss Class Degausser utilizes a 30,000 Gauss field. The TS-4XT degausser completely erases all data on hard drives and tapes in seconds. It includes a scanner to document the drives degaussing.
The Garner PD-5 Hard Drive Destroyer uses 15,500 pounds of crushing power to physically destroy hard drives containing your sensitive data. This powerful, high-speed, destroyer bends, breaks, and mangles hard drives, including data platters and other internal components, thwarting data recovery. The PD-5 is software-independent, destroying up to eight laptop-, two standard-, or one full-height hard drive per cycle. Drives are destroyed in 18 seconds or less, meeting NSA emergency-destruction guidelines.
The Garner PD-5 Destroyer automatically senses the inserted media type, and can run continuously without cooling down between cycles. Its office-friendly design is quiet, free of hydraulic fluid, and offers push-button operation with an LCD display screen. The optional SSD-1 accessory destroyer expands the PD-5's range to include solid-state drives, including laptop SSDs, solid-state hybrid drives (SSHDs), flash, compact flash, thumb, and other USB drives (SSD-1 not included).

The Garner SSD-1 Solid-State Destroyer adds an additional layer of media obliteration to your PD-5 Hard-Drive Destroyer. Use this NSA-listed accessory to demolish data contained in solid-state media, flash thumb drives, and SSHD (solid-state hybrid drive) controller boards. Place media up to 0.5" high in the SSD-1's destruction chamber, then let the 90 spikes go to work. The drive(s) are punctured and waffled, preventing recorded data from being accessed.
When used with the PD-5 destroyer, this NSA/CSS EPL-listed device complies with a range of stringent standards for data destruction.
