Protect your investment with the orange and black Parachute with Sentinel Automatic Trigger for Matrice 200/210 from Fruity Chutes. This lightweight parachute system is engineered with a 2W radio and allows for automatic or manual deployment, providing your Matrice 200 or 210 with a nice gentle landing. Manual triggering is possible via the Skycat Rescue Radio system, which has an independent power supply. Automatic deployment is handled via the Sentinel triggering system, which can detect a variety of drone failures in as little as 0.5 seconds. Parachutes are ejected via a high-energy compressed spring so you can take the system with you to any location. You can even be conveniently folded and packed by the user for multiple uses without requiring shipment to the manufacturer.
Sentinel Automatic Trigger
If something goes extremely wrong during flight, the Sentinel triggering system is there to automatically step in and save the drone. The system can detect if the drone suddenly falls, rolls, or flips. Detection happens in as little as 0.5 seconds, which equates to roughly 6' of free fall. Typically, the chute will deploy before a pilot notices there's an issue. The Sentinel system has its own 500mAh battery, so the chute can be deployed even if the drone experiences a complete power failure.
Manual Deployment via Radio
Running off a 915 MHz signal to avoid interference with other devices, the 2W radio transmitter and TBS Nano receiver gives pilots the ability to manually trigger the parachute in the event of an emergency, such as a flyaway. The chute can be deployed manually from up to five miles away, making it ideal for BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) situations. The transmitter is designed to mount easily onto your controller, or on your belt/pocket with an included belt clip.
Spring Launcher
A carbon fiber Harrier launcher is used to eject the parachute by utilizing a high-energy compression spring. This allows the parachute to be ejected out and away from the drone quickly while having no regulatory or transportation limitations.
Self-Contained System
This Fruity Chutes parachute does not rely on the drone to operate. The entirely self-contained system means it can protect your drone even in the event of power failure.
Iris Ultralight Parachute
The Iris parachute weighs only 2.62 oz, yet it can provide a gentle landing to drones that weigh between 7 and 11 lb, allowing them to land at a rate of 15 feet per second. If needed, the parachute can also land drones up to 27 lb or more. The parachute uses eight shroud lines that are each rated at a 200 lb break strength. The parachute bridle uses 1000 lb Spectra material, and the overall break strength of the chute is approximately 1000 lb of pull force.
Repack Your Chute
There's no need to send your parachute back to the manufacturer after every deployment. The system is designed to let you refold, repack, and reload the parachute multiple times. A parachute rigger jig is included to help you quickly and easily fold the parachute properly.
Easy Installation
Nearly everything you need to attach the parachute system to your drone is included. All you need to provide are simple tools. The parachute is designed to mount next to the battery to minimize its impact on flight.
