Fringer FR-EFTG1 Overview
This Fringer EF Mount Lens to FUJIFILM GFX Camera Auto Adapter allows an EF mount lens to be used on a Fujifilm GFX camera. Electronic communication between an attached camera and lens is supported, enabling image stabilization, autofocus, as well as auto exposure features. If an attached lens is capable of generating Exif metadata, this adapter is designed to transfer that information so that it can be saved with image files generated by the combined EF mount lens and the GFX camera. Its electronic aperture ring features 1/3-stop steps and is user selectable through the ring or the command dial.
Featuring a metal alloy construction, this adapter is durable while remaining lightweight and its lens mounting ring is made with brass to further prevent wear and tear. It comes with a dust-proof rubber ring, and its flocked interior minimizes internal reflection.

Fringer FR-EFTG1 Reviews
Phenomenal.
Recently decided to move from Canon to Fuji. Bought a GFX50S and I wanted to use my L glass until I could find a comfortable setup of Fuji lenses. This Fringer adapter was highly recommended for its quality and consistent firmware updates. It works flawlessly so far, and I've been using it consistently for a month now. I've used the EF 16-35mm f2.8 II, EF 24-70mm f2.8 II, EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS II, and the EF 300mm f2.8 IS. Each lens autofocuses fast (not nearly as fast as natively on a Canon, but that's to be expected with the contrast-detect AF on the Fuji) with no hiccups at all. I would say it is not possible to autofocus the 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS II with a Canon EF 1.4x Extender III whatsoever on the Fuji, that probably comes down to the AF of the Fuji. If you're looking to Frankenstein your Canon lenses to your Fuji, then look no further. It's expensive, but entirely worth it.
Recommended over Techart
Works as expected, for most lenses. I believe fringer has done a good job reverse engineering both Fuji and Canon lens communication specs. However, as expected, The AF, will hunt a little, sometimes kills communication, and doesn't necessarily work with all AF modes, like continuous. Additionally, third party lenses like Sigma, are a bit hit and miss. That being said, a big shout out to the engineering team for trying. Also, a big shout out to the engineering team for the integration of sigma art lenses. They work just as well as Canon, including my very superb, and very hefty. Sigma Sport 120-300 2.8 IS. that makes my day. I really don't want to give up that lens! And for those of you that want the Techart route, you will be pleasantly surprised with Fringer. I hope for more and better firmware updates though. AF could be a little tighter, faster. please figure that one out.
Works great!
This adapter is not cheap but worth the price! The Canon EF lens works great through the adapter just like GFX lenses. All my Canon EF and TS-E lens works as well as a Zeiss ZE lens. The adapter also has an aperture ring! But you need to test every lens to see if it can cover the 44*33mm image circle (fully open).
solid build and fast focusing
I have a couple of EF lenses and a four-year-old auto adapter. The auto-focus always worked slowly. It was ok for scenery but really hard for anything in motion. The old auto adapter stopped working recently and I decided to go with Fringer. The new Fringer adapter has a solid build. And more importantly, the auto-focus is much faster than before. I connected it with Tamron 150-600mm and I am super happy with the focusing speed and image quality.
Did not work well with my Canon 70-300/4-5.6...
...L IS USM. Simply would not autofocus accurately enough.
Works great
I tried the fotdiox pro, which was not closing the aperture on most of the lens I tried it on. This adapter works on all my canon and sigma lens. I do treat my 100s more like a view camera, so I usually manually focus. It does seem to auto focus just fine. More importantly, it allows you to set the aperture either through the adapter or camera.
