Freewell FW-PGHB-R Overview
The PRO SSD Hub from Freewell is a universal SSD hub for smartphones that can help expand smartphone storage with support for M.2 SSDs up to 8TB, compatible with 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 interfaces, which is ideal for managing large data files in high-resolution recording setups. It features dedicated USB-C ports for SSD data, accessories like wireless audio, and fast 60W charging. The dedicated high-speed USB-C port enables fast 10 GB/s data transfer, ideal for handling large video files or extensive photo libraries.
The Pro SSD Hub attaches to any MagSafe-enabled smartphone with an integrated magnetic mount, and it operates in either portrait or landscape orientation. SSD units may also be mounted to the hub magnetically and then connected with the included USB-C data cable. A Bluetooth trigger acts like a camera's shutter button when mounted on the grip but can also be removed to be a wireless trigger for remote operation.
