This ND4 filter reduces the amount of light entering the gimbal by two stops, which is enough to compensate for moderately bright days. By controlling how much light enters the gimbal, your footage benefits from more natural colors and balanced exposure. To help protect the filter, a coating has been applied to make it dustproof, oilproof, scratch resistant, and color neutral.
