GimbalSafe The filters in this 8-pack support Freewell's GimbalSafe technology, which ensures they are light enough to not negatively affect your gimbal's movement while in flight. Multilayer Coatings Freewell has given each filter multiple layers of protective coatings, which helps make each of them waterproof, dustproof, scratchproof, and oilproof. An additional color-neutral coating helps improve image quality. ND Filters The ND, or neutral density, filters are designed to give you the ability to manually manage exposure by reducing the amount of light entering the camera lens. When doing so, this allows you to shoot in wider f-stops under bright lighting conditions. They also help avoid the "Jell-O" effect that can appear due to gimbal vibration.
