Freewell FW-82-BRG Overview
The Freewell 82mm Bright Day Variable Neutral Density 1.8 to 2.7 Filter is designed to mount onto lenses with 82mm front filter threads and provides an exposure reduction of 6 to 9 stops. Its 1.8 to 2.7 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally possible. The degree of density is easily controlled by rotating the front filter ring, helping you to predetermine the additional exposure length required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. For easier, repeatable control over density settings, the front ring is visually demarcated with numbers representing the different stop values and features side knurlings to further enable fast and precise positioning.
This filter is constructed from Schott B270 glass for enhanced clarity and color fidelity. Each glass surface is multi-coated to help eliminate internal ghosting and reflections. The Freewell 82mm Bright Day Variable Neutral Density 1.8 to 2.7 Filter is also coated for resistance to oil, dust, and scratches, offering greater protection to the filter and helping it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The coatings are also hydrophobic, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

I bought 82 mm 6-9 stop
i recieved quickly, and i have good image on nikon 50 and 80 mm f1,8 G without vignette on 6,7,8,9 stop, maybe on any lens with 82 mm but on my lens with ring from 82 to any size i have good image
It works on Ultra wide lens...to a certain extent
I own a RF 15-35mm F2.8 lens. It works on 6 to 8 stop, but it will make some VERY serious vignetting on 15mm with 9 stop, it is so serious that the picture is not usable like this However, if you use 6 to 8 stop, it works pretty well on 15mm, even at 8 stop + F18 with some minor vignetting on upper left and lower right corner, but it's still within acceptable limit like this When i move the lens to 17mm, 8 stop is a lot easier to use as I can barely see any dark corner on upper left and lower right. All in all, it's a good ND filter *if* you just ignore 9 stop. It's clear and super sharp even at 8 stop.
