Packing a stereo 4-band parametric EQ, a 30-band spectrum analyzer, total recall, and a 3.5" color LCD with touch fields into a double-slot 500 Series module, the Fredenstein F610 Universal Entzerrer UE-1 is equally powerful for tracking, mixing, and mastering applications. Thanks to its digitally controlled analog circuitry, up to 99 user settings, and remote control via USB, the F610 UE-1 offers the sonic performance of a boutique analog EQ along with the convenience and advanced workflow of a digital processor.
As an equalizer, the F610 UE-1 features four fully parametric bands, each with adjustable frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, Q control, and up to 16 dB of boost/cut in 0.25 dB steps. Plus, it provides a low-cut filter and switchable harmonic coloration based on tube characteristics. The EQ can be used in stereo or as two independent mono EQs with the ability to copy and paste across channels. The 30-band RTA is configurable to allow viewing of the input or output signal for the left, right, or 2-channel signal, and it has customizable range and decay settings.
