FotodioX M7-NKZ-FSN Overview
The Pro Fusion Smart Auto-Focus Adapter for Mamiya 7-Mount Lens to Nikon Z Camera from FotodioX allows a Mamiya 7-mount rangefinder lens to be mounted on a Nikon Z-mount camera. The Pro Fusion adapter is designed to support electronic communication between camera and lens, enabling Exif data transfer, while focus and exposure operations are traditionally manual. When switching lenses, simply set the Mamiya 7 lens to f/8, install the lens on the Fusion adapter, and then press the function button to calibrate. When the lens shutter is closed, the adapter will beep to confirm calibration, then turn the blue ring on the adapter to open the lens shutter back up to begin shooting.
The adapter's matte black internal coating minimizes the potential for reflections within its barrel to eliminate unwanted glare within the image. This adapter is constructed from aluminum alloy for durability while minimizing weight, and its mounting rings are made with brass to further prevent wear and tear.
