FotodioX SNE-NKZ Overview
This all-metal Lens Adapter for Mirrorless Manual Focus Lenses from FotodioX permits manual focus lenses with a Sony E-mount to be used on Nikon Z-series camera bodies. This adapter supports manual focus, exposure control, and infinity focus. This adapter does not provide electronic communication between camera and lens, so no EXIF data is recorded when in use.
- This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
- Exposure can be set manually or metered using the camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode.
- If a lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, the lens aperture will revert to its default position, which depending on the lens is either stopped down to its largest f-stop or opened up to its smallest f-stop.

It works but a bit strange

First of all, the adapter doesn't have a release like what's in the picture, it's just a metal ring. To install, there is no instruction so this is how I did it. I put the adapter on the camera first, it goes in ok, no loud click in place sound but you know it's there, then put the lens on, lens will not stay on adapter if you start with the lens first. The fit is ok and the metal finishing gives a bit secured feel that it's no gonna break easily. To release, you twist off the adapter and the lens becomes loose, so be careful, don't accidentally drop the lens. The lens I adapted is a Lensbaby manual lens, it works fine. Overall, this adapter works, but sure not worth the price.
