While it's a serious, multifeatured light source, one look at the wand-like shape of the DaoLite Prizmo Edition DLC-2 LED Tube Wand from FotodioX and you just know that it's going to be fun to use.The omni-directional DLC-2 has a 360-degree beam spread making its 2.2" diameter and slim form factor not only great for edge lighting, but ideal as a fill light or in tight spaces such as elevators, cars, or other confined areas. Mount the DaoLite Prizmo on a stand with the included ball head, hand it to an assistant, or hold it yourself for fast, versatile light. The DaoLite Prizma's 720 bright LEDs are flicker-free throughout its 2800 to 6500K color temperature range and are dimmable from 10-100%. Also featuring native RGBW+T full gamut color mixing with hue and saturation control, the DaoLite Prismo can render millions of colors, making it able to fulfill just about any technical or artistic requirement with no need to add gels or colored sleeves. The wands's high CRI 95 and TLCI 91 rating indicates superior accuracy in color reproduction, a real benefit with skin tones and subtle hues.
The DLC-2 is ready for worldwide use via its 100 to 240 VAC adapter but the real fun happens when you attach the separately available battery handle, increasing its length to almost 3'. The battery has a 1/4"-20 socket for mounting and LED charge status lights, but most importantly, the wand-like DLC-2 begs to be handheld, free from wires, for shooting on the fly with total creative freedom. The 14.8V Li-Ion battery in the handle will give you about 75 minutes of full-power runtime on a 3-hour charge.
