The Hitech 6 x 6" Day for Night #2 Filter is an effective solution for creating a nighttime or dusk appearance while photographing in daylight. This filter provides a cool color cast and lowered contrast while providing neutral density to help create the illusion of a moonlit, nighttime scene.
This filter measures 6 x 6" / 152.4 x 152.4mm and is constructed from CR-39 dyed resin. There is a 2 stop density that should only partially be compensated for in order to retain some of the darkness and underexposure inherent to a nighttime image.
Cool color cast and lowered contrast combined with neutral density to help create the illusion of a moonlit, nighttime scene during daytime.
