Product Overview
PV78 is a solar irradiance and temperature meter with tilt sensor and METERLiNK®. It is designed for solar site surveys, panel installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. It allows for instant measurements to determine solar irradiation (in watts per square meter) as required by the IEC 62446-1 Electrical Safety of PV Installations standard. You can measure temperature by placing the meter directly on the panel or by connecting an external probe for continuous measurements. The device also includes a compass to find the predominant direction and a tilt function to verifying the inclination of a roof or panel. With Bluetooth® FLIR METERLiNK technology, you can wirelessly connect to the METERLiNK® app on mobile devices, enabling instantaneous documentation, reporting, and sharing of results from the field.
