Description
Field Optics Research FDT32-5839C-AST Overview
The Sequoia 32-AST-SQ DomeTOP Tripod System from Field Optics Research is similar to a bowl top style tripod but with a DomeTOP. The tension handle is above the tripod frame rather than below the frame between the legs. This provides greater access to the tension handle and far superior ergonomic control especially in a dynamic-moving target situation. The system has +/- 30° of pitch and 360° of pan. It comes standard with an Arca Swiss Twist Clamp Head. Due to its modular design, the AST can be replaced by any standard photography head via the 3/8"-16 stud.
