Add security and durability to your ID cards with this Laminating Module for HDP6600 ID Card Printer from Fargo. The two-material design allows for multiple overlays, such as one clear and one holographic on opposite sides of the card. The PolyGuard LMX material is designed to create less waste than other laminates. A physical lock protects your valuable consumables from tampering or theft.
Fargo's wasteless lamination technology eliminates the need for the standard carrier film and take-up core, significantly reducing waste and reducing laminate materials costs by as much as 40 percent. Beyond decreased waste and consumables cost savings, wasteless PolyGuard LMX overlaminates extend the life of your cards with a 99.5 percent card coverage.
The module allows the use of different lamination materials on either side of the card. For instance, government offices, universities, and other organizations may opt for a custom, holographic laminate on the front of their multiuse smart cards for added security and a halfpatch laminate on the back to protect card elements such as barcodes or for leaving a magnetic stripe available for encoding.
