Excellent backpack for adventure
For mi kind of work in sports events and trekking is an excellent backpack. fully wetproof and lots of zips to reach confortable the equipment. Also it is not to big, just a good size for 1 body, 3 lenses, flash, drone and some batteries and chargers.
It works, is well built, could be better though
I prevaricated over which larger backpack to purchase. In reality, I want a backpack that�ll hold all my camera gear, plus hiking gear, and not be too big, heavy, or uncomfortable. I also want the same pack to be able to shrink down for trips out with less gear. Remember Hermione�s bag from the Harry Potter books? It could hold everything. That�s what I want in a camera backpack. In the absence of magic, the principles of physics does not allow such a backpack to exist...... yet. In the meantime, the Ajna from F-stop is a great alternative. With the medium-slope ICU, I carried, dslr, 24-70mm, 70-300mm, 150-300mm lenses. I was also able to fit a jacket, binoculars, and cotton-carrier harness and other bits and pieces, including sandwiches and small water bottle. Oh and not to forget about tripod on the outside. This was only for a couple mile hike, but it was comfortable, which I was relieved about because I had read about the sparsely padded straps. I will purchase a small ICU for those longer hikes, when I want to take the smaller lenses. It will also free-up space for more personal stuff. There are some negatives - 1. lack of dedicated, water-proof compartment for a water bladder. I have never had one leak yet, but would feel a bit safer if there was one. I did notice that the outermost compartment has a drain hole, so I�ll use that for my water bladder. 2. Fasteners for holding the ICU in-place. What a pain to get to and fasten. I am sure this could be an easy redesign. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.
Great Pack
Have had a chance to use the pack for a short week in the mountains. The pack was light, fit good and carried well. I packed a 4x5 Chamonix with three lenses with boards, light meter, filter case with a complement of Lee 100 system filters, Sony A7R with 24-70 lens and all the accessories with Tripod. My only suggestion is to create a way to keep accessories from sliding behind the main storage unit. Couple of small things got lost till figured out where they went. Otherwise great pack and look forward to using it again soon.
More than just a camera bag
From the moment I got it I knew it was exactly what I wanted and needed. It has a pouch for my hydration pack which was top on my list for must haves. I hate carrying water bottles. The material leaves no doubts that it will repel water and keep all your camera gear along with the other gear you have in there as well. Simple zip pouches and tons of room.
