Evolution EVEXUSB2 Overview
IT professionals can easily use their peripherals on computer systems over long distances with the Evolution USB 2.0 Extender over Cat5e/6 Cable Set. Allowing you to connect up to four USB peripherals over a standard Ethernet cable, you can control your host device and even use devices like printers, webcams, and more.
Consisting of two separate pieces, the receiver and transmitter sport a decoupled design, allowing you to use CAT 5e and 6 cables over varying distances up to 330- and 492-feet, respectively. Operating on the USB 2.0 standard, you can use a wide range of peripherals such as keyboards, mice, storage drives, and more. The receiver provides you with four USB-A inputs as well as a DC power input while the transmitter features a single USB-A port that connects to your PC. Hot pluggable design allows you to easily plug and unplug your peripherals without restarting your system. You also get ESD, surge, and lightning protection.
