ESE ES-188F-NTP6 Overview
The ES-188F/NTP6 Master Clock/Timecode Generator/NTP Server from ESE generates multiple types of timecode. It features a nine-digit display fed by a user-selected NTP (Network Time Protocol) server that can be referenced even while not connected to the internet. The SMPTE/EBU LTC, ESE-TC90/TC89, ASCII (RS-232C and USB), IRIG-B, and 1PPS signal outputs enable the ES-188F/NTP6 to easily interface with new or existing computers, automation devices, and clock systems.
Versatile Output
The ES-188F/N TP6 enables you to update your computer's Windows clock to the time available on the USB port. It also enables you to select DF, NDF, EBU, or real-time SMPTE modes, offset the displayed/output time zone, and advance or delay the time output for syncing purposes.
Applications
The ES-188F/N TP6 is ideal for basements and locations where it is difficult to get a reliable GPS signal, locations where using an antenna is cost prohibitive or not permitted, or facilities like multiple-campus universities or affiliated radio stations that need to be synced to a remote location through NTP.
