ELAC DCB61 Overview
Combining high-end audio quality with modern convenience, the DCB61 Debut ConneX 2-Way Active Wireless Bookshelf Speaker from ELAC is an ideal solution for all your entertainment needs. This DCB61 pair provides a wide range of ports to support music, TV, and movies. There's even Dolby Digital support for authentic cinema-quality 2.1-channel output when paired with an optional subwoofer. On their own, the DBC61 speakers have a balanced sound with deep bass thanks to a two-way speaker system that features a long excursion 6.5" woofer and waveguide tweeter in each. This is in addition to ELAC's XBass enhancer and S-shaped rear bass reflex port. Whatever you stream or connect can be conveniently controlled via ELAC's ConneX mobile app.
Two-Way System
Packed inside each speaker's nearly solid 0.5" MDF cabinet is a 6.5" long excursion woofer and waveguide tweeter. The woofer extends the bass response while promoting a clear and precise dynamic sound. The addition of a waveguide allows the tweeter to improve its dispersion and directivity, as well as adding precision to high frequencies.
Enhanced Bass
A boosted bass response is in part due to ELAC's proprietary XBass enhancer and the rear-firing S-shaped bass reflex ports. The port deepens bass while minimizing ventilation noise for a cleaner sound, while XBass is more dynamic in enhancing bass extension and output. If it's too much for your tastes, XBass can be disabled for a more neutral frequency response.
Plethora of Ports
Movies, TV, turntables, mobile phones, and more can play their music and soundtracks through the DCB61 Debut ConneX. Mobile devices can stream via Bluetooth, while hardware components can connect to an HDMI ARC, RCA phono, or Optical audio input. There's even a USB-A port for playing digital files from an optional drive.
ELAC ConneX App
Conveniently manage the DCB61 speakers using your iOS or Android device with ELAC's ConneX app. The app lets you set up and control the speakers, fine-tune EQ settings, optimize placement, adjust the Auto-On feature, manage volume, and more.
