E-Image PM-846 Overview
The PM-846 Hypercardioid Shotgun Microphone from E-Image is a back-electret condenser microphone that has a 40 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response, runs on a AA battery or 48V phantom power, and is built with a 3-pin gold-plated XLR output connector. The mic is 14.5" in length and can be used for film, video production, and broadcast (ENG/EFP) audio applications. The PM-846 features an all-metal construction and is equipped with a bass roll-off attenuation switch to eliminate rumble in the low end and a smooth high-pass filter switch to eliminate high-frequency noise.
