Offering a 1/4"-20 mounting thread, the L-Series Battery Plate to EN-EL15 Dummy Battery from DigitalFoto is designed to be mounted onto a cheese plate or other support on your camera rig to provide extended battery power. The included dummy battery allows you to use larger-capacity L-series type batteries to power any camera or device that runs on a Nikon EN-EL15 battery.
The dummy battery adapter provides a 7.4 to 8.4 VDC input and output, and it features a coiled 15.7 to 39.4" dummy battery cable. The battery plate features a 1/4"-20 thread and mounting screw, and a removable shoe adapter is also included for mounting on a camera or cage shoe mount.
