P7806-2000R-S is a P78-2000R-S series, compact, encapsulated, non-isolated DC to DC converter. It offers 2A of output current, 36VDC maximum input and is designed to offer high-performance alternatives to linear regulators. Utilizing switching technology, this series is footprint compatible with LM78XX three-terminal linear regulators. Featuring 36VDC max input range, the P78-2000R-S DC switching regulator series is extremely efficient and does not require a heat sink, and comes with a right-angle bent pin, making it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium.
