Deep-Bass Extension for Distributed Audio

Featuring an 8" polypropylene woofer in a tuned, ported enclosure, the PDS8T provides tight, musical low-frequency support with a frequency response of 45 to 125 Hz (±3 dB). It enhances background music systems by adding clarity and weight to the low end, improving overall sound quality in large, reverberant spaces.

70/100V Transformer with Flexible Taps

Equipped with a built-in 100W multi-tap transformer, the PDS8T integrates easily into distributed 70 and 100V systems. Tap settings include 100, 60, 30, and 15W, selectable via a sealed rear switch. An 8-ohm bypass is also available for use with low-impedance amplifiers.

Secure Pendant Mounting with Gripple System

Designed for open-ceiling suspension, the PDS8T includes a 10' steel wire suspension kit featuring a Gripple self-locking wire rope grip and carabiner-style safety clip. This allows for easy height adjustment and ensures reliable, code-compliant overhead installation. A sealed cable gland with protective cover provides a clean and secure cable entry point.

Durable, Commercial-Grade Construction

The enclosure is molded from rugged ABS plastic with a powder coated aluminum grille, and is UL 94V-0-rated for flame resistance. Both the housing and grille are paintable to blend seamlessly with interior architecture.
