Featuring a PCIe x1 interface, this sound card provides 3.5mm ports for microphone and line input, headphone output, and front, rear, and center speaker outputs. TOSLINK S/PDIF input and output ports are also present. Utilizing the Sound Core3D audio processor, the Sound Blaster Z SE supports 5.1 Surround Sound as well as virtual 7.1 Channel sound.

Take advantage of sample rates up to 24 bits at 192 kHz. A 116 dB signal-to-noise ratio ensures clear audio, and an integrated 600-ohm headphone amp supports studio-grade headsets. The Sound Blaster Z SE PCIe sound card is compatible with Windows 7 and later. An Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD equivalent processor is required, and a processing speed of 2.2 GHz is recommended. Great sound card. It just keeps jumping from the regular line to S/PDIF. But, I think that has something to do with my computer. I have to continue to download the driver even though I believe they are still there. Maybe I should just switch to S/PDIF.
