Cranborne Audio N22 Cat 5 Snake and C.A.S.T. Breakout Box is a standalone, 4-channel Cat 5 analog-snake for tidy and cost-effective audio distribution in the studio or onstage. It uses the company's C.A.S.T. cable management system for unique and complex routing with high-fidelity, plug-and-play simplicity, packed in a rugged steel enclosure.
N22 can be deployed exactly where it is needed, providing stagebox connectivity for two microphones or other audio sources during tracking or a live show (requires a second N22 or an N22H Headphone Amplifier, plus a Cat 5e, 6, or 7 cable�all available separately). N22 is also designed to work with any other C.A.S.T. enabled device like the 500R8, 500ADAT, or Camden EC2.
- The C.A.S.T. system uses the internal wirering of a shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cable to distribute balanced analog audio around studios or stages up to 330'�without high-end roll-off and with very low crosstalk.

N22H can be deployed exactly where it is needed, allowing you to put the headphone mix right beside the musician, while also providing you with stagebox connectivity for two microphones or other audio sources during tracking (requires N22 Cat 5 snake and C.A.S.T. breakout box and a Cat 5e, 6, or 7 cable�all available separately).
N22H can also be used as a standalone headphone amp. Simply connect the line outputs of your audio interface, guitar pedalboard, mixer, keyboard, or outboard hardware directly into N22H's inputs, set the Source switch on N22H to Inputs, and you are ready to use N22H for all of your headphone-monitoring needs. N22H is also designed to work with any other C.A.S.T. enabled device like the 500R8, 500ADAT, or Camden EC2.
- N22H's headphone amplifier is based on the same custom design found in the company's renowned 500R8 interface.
- With a flat frequency response ranging from 0.8 Hz to above 250 kHz and ultralow distortion (0.0009% THD+N, 100 Kilohm load), it can easily power headphones with clean, transparent power�perfect for critical listening, mixing, and mastering.
- There�s also enough power (up to 950mW per ear) to drive headphones at high-volumes during tracking�perfect for loud drummers.

The heart of the company's C.A.S.T. audio-over-Cat 5 system, the Cranborne Audio N8 is an is an advanced audio-distribution hub used to transform a network cable (Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7) into a 4-channel analog snake. Set N8 in your control room and patch directly into the I/O of your audio interface via DB25 connectors. N8 then converts these analog signals from the audio interface into four discrete C.A.S.T. connections with fully-balanced, high-quality audio paths that can be distributed to C.A.S.T. breakout boxes such as N22 and N22H in your studio or on the stage.
N8 is compatible with N22 and N22H breakout boxes, as well as Camden EC2 and Camden EC1 preamps, headphone amplifiers, and signal processors. With a completely passive design, no power is required for full operation and C.A.S.T connectivity. N8 is rugged enough for the stage, small enough to hide in the rack, or rackmountable with the optional Half-Rack Kit.
