Comica Audio CVM-VS08 Overview
The CVM-VS08 Directional Shotgun Microphone for Smartphones from Comica Audio is designed to plug directly into the headphone jack of a smartphone. You can connect it into the Lightning port of an iOS device when using an Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter (available separately).
The microphone features a supercardioid polar pattern, which focuses on the sound that you are pointing towards while rejecting undesired sounds from the rear and sides. The microphone mounts onto a wide range of mobile devices and it is ideal for capturing speech and ambient sounds for interviews, podcasts, videos, and more.
The CVM-VS08 features a 3.5mm headphone jack on the back that allows you to plug in your headphones for monitoring audio while recording (app dependent) or listen to the playback of your videos without having to remove the mic from your device.
