You have options with the Coast XP9R Rechargeable LED Flashlight: brightness levels from 67 lumens all the way up to 1000, a focused spot beam or a broad flood, and USB Type-C recharging or disposable batteries. The three brightness levels cover a wide range of needs, from household use to professional public safety or industrial activity. Changing beam size is easily accomplished with one hand�slide the light head forward for the Bulls-Eye spot beam or back for the Ultra View flood beam. Twist the head to the left to lock the beam into place. Charge the Coast Zithion-X rechargeable Li-ion battery by partially unscrewing the tail of the light to reveal the USB Type-C port. If recharging isn't an option, you can power the light with two CR123A batteries.

Another Coast Flashlight
This makes the 4th Coast flashlight I have. For their size, i have found them to provide plenty of light with batteries that give long life before needing recharging. The ability to change the bean from focused to broad coverage is helpful depending on what effort I am lighting.

XP9R
I wanted a rechargeable COAST flashlight to replace my faithful HP7. The XP9R seemed about the same size and functionality, so I chose it. A few days ago I was able to put it ti the test. A boat lift failed, at dusk of course, and we needed to repair the lift, in the dark. We could not determine the problem until I used full bright mode of the XP9R to see under water... A lift guide wheel had somehow come off, jamming the lift. With the XP9R we were able to locate and retrieve the lift wheels and walk the lift up with the boat on it. We will fix the lift on a warmer, sunny day. The XP9R worked flawlessly. It's size, and easy grip make it a great light while working, or doing just about anything at night, I'm so glad I have it.
Tough bright performance!
Tougher than most and great field of view. This light is perfect for inspection, camping, security, or everyday use. The focus function is great for long tight spaces and rechargeable battery has you ready to go fast. Best quality for price.
Workhorse Light
Bought this light because of the small profile that would make it useful for work. After the purchase, the light is much better than expected for the small size. The added bonus of the rechargeable battery makes this flashlight my workhorse. As usual, the build quality for this Coast product is first-rate.
