CineStill Film 400D 35mm Overview
The CineStill Film 400Dynamic Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is a fine grain film that delivers a soft color palette with natural saturated color and rich, warm skin tones. The film has a wide dynamic range, with a base sensitivity of ISO 400 but can be rated from 200 to 800, and it can be pushed up to 3200. This makes the film highly versatile, suitable for any lighting condition, any event, and can be used either outdoors or in the studio.
400D was specifically designed for still photography, to be processed in C-41 chemistry by any photo lab or at home. In addition, it also features a process-surviving anti-static lubricant coating that will make it an ideal film for both manual SLRs and automatic winding cameras. This new film will continue CineStill�s ongoing tradition of motion picture film emulsions made for still photographers, so that they can maximize their creativity and produce remarkable images that express who they are as a photographer.

Better than a photograph
I love Cine still because when you look at your photograph, it looks more like you stopped a movie and took a picture of the scene.

The warm tone is great grain is pretty fine, scanned them and the film had plenty of detail left in it to edit
Beautiful Film
If you haven't tried it yet, do. Just wonderful, dare I say, cinematic quality.
The do-it-all cinestill film
This film is a lot like 50D in that it produces extremely warm tones. Sharpness/detail is great film and it scans just as well as 50D/800T. Shoot this film if you want the 50D look but need the faster shutter speeds. I've already captured some absolute bangers on my first roll of 400D and it'll probably replace 800T as my new favorite film.
