Celestron C90 Overview
The compact and highly portable C90 Mak Spotting Scope from Celestron is a powerful spotting scope with a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical path, a 32mm eyepiece, and an erect-image 45° diagonal that also corrects the view laterally. Because the finderscope and the diagonal both provide corrected images, the C90 is an excellent choice for terrestrial as well as astronomy viewing.
The 32mm Plossl eyepiece provides the user with a remarkable 39x magnification. Higher levels of magnification and wider fields of view can be experienced by substituting the included eyepiece with an appropriate 1.25" astronomy ocular.
The C90 comes with an erect image 8x21 finderscope that provides a wider field of view to aid the viewer in locating subjects and targets easily. The finderscope mounts conveniently to the side of the C90's optical tube assembly and removes easily for storage and transport.
The entire system is tripod adaptablethe C90 is equipped with a standard threaded tripod mount that's stable and secure. The rear of the C90 features built-in T-mount threads for mounting an SLR camera, using a user-supplied camera-specific T-ring, for astrophotography or digiscoping applications.

Celestron C90 Reviews
Reach for the stars!
Combine this with a 90 degree star diagonal, red dot finder, and heavy duty alt azimuth tripod and you will be reaching for the stars.
FOR QUICK SETUPS
NICE SCOPE FOR QUICK SETUPS. LIGHT WEIGHT ON THE BACK AND THE WALLET.
Superior optics in lightweight scope
Excellent for seeing clearly whats happening 5 km away. Almost invisible with the naked eye people, can be clearly seen with the C90 and their movement monitored. Also good for planets and constellations. Very portable. Highly recommended.
Great product and very fast shipping
I ordered on Monday, shipped out to Thailand on Tuesday and I received it on Friday. It is very good optic, very impressive when observing moon, Saturn and Jupiter.
Pequeno not?vel
Ap?s realizar algumas leituras na internet, resolvi adquirir este Celestron C90 MAK Spotting Scope. O telescopio ? bem constru?do e resistente. Utilizo o equipamento com uma diagonal diel?trica da Optics Willians e fiquei impressionado com a observa??o da Lua, utilizando uma ocular Meade Series 5000 HD-60 25mm (1.25"). A imagem ? n?tida, perfeita. A nebulosa de Orion, apesar da polui??o luminosa da regi?o onde resido, ? simplesmente maravilhosa. Sou iniciante em astrofotografia e realizei alguns ensaios utilizando uma montagem n?o motorizada e uma c?mera Sony alfa 3000 e, apesar da inexperi?ncia, fiquei muito satisfeito. Recomendo o telescopio.
Nice scope
I purchased this to be able to photograph the eclipse. I had a bit of a learning curve and a substandard mount but I managed to catch some shots that I was happy with. These are the unprocessed photos captured with a Nikon 3100 I will also use this scope on the range. I haven't tried that yet, but based on the clear high power views it should work great. All in all the scope is a good value.
Good value
Good value for a relatively small outlay of cash. Seems well made - not a toy. Good first scope. Versatile - Good optics - Upright image. Dual use for terrestrial / target spotting as well as bright planet viewing. Lightweight, Very portable. Comes with small backpack. Can mount on either a camera or astronomy tripod. Can attach a DSLR camera with the appropriate adapter. Uses 1.25 inch eyepieces which can be interchanged with many other telescopes if you decide to buy a larger scope in the future, or if you want to attach a DSLR camera. Just understand that with a small aperture this scope is ok for viewing bright planets and the moon, but will not bring dim /deep space objects into view. Also a minor complaint is that if you are trying to view an object adjacent to a bright light source, there is significant light contamination
Great grab and go scope
Debated for awhile on a small lightweight grab and go scope for the quick peek at the planets and moon. Very pleased with the optics. View rivals my Celestron Nexstar 6 SE on Jupiter. Very clear and very lightweight. Perfect with a lightweight tripod. Thanks Celestron and for another winner!
