I was really dumb!
Tried to clean the focusing screen on my Canon 6D with a lens tissue and made things worse. Thought it was made of glass, silly me. Then I found out that it was user replaceable, yes! Just follow the instructions. It's straight forward and relatively easy to do.

EASY TO INSTALL - even for a tech dummy
The focus screen itself was quite easy to install. Moreover, the B & H representative was patient with my silly questions and did his best to try to make sure it arrived before an important photography event that I had scheduled. Could not be happier with the customer service, nor the item itself. I was advised to come to B & H by my preferred brick and mortar that did not have the screen in stock.
