Simply outstanding! If I had to pick a con...it's a bit heavy, bur the amount of optics in this beast .....wow I love it!
Great lens and great service

Best overall go to Lens
Feels a little heavy after a while but it delivers the quality(almost) and use of 3 Primes. Super creamy bokeh for a zoom lens. It's for a lifetime so worth the price.
Never taking this lens off!
This is hands down my favorite lens EVER. I used to be a die hard 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lens user, but I got this one and it completely does the job of all 3 of those lenses. I was initially hesitant because 1. It's heavy and large 2. It's an investment- but it's 100% worth it. I'm in love with how fast it is, how accurate the focusing is, and the range is incredible. I use it on wedding days and portrait sessions and I get so many shots that I wouldn't otherwise be able to get. I cannot recommend it highly enough! :)
Best Do All Lens
I have the 85mm f1.2, the 50mm 1.8, the 15-35mm f2.8, and the 70-200mm f2.8. When I bought this lens it was with the intention of having a super wide selection for focal range. What ended up happening was that I sold my 50mm, 85mm, and 70-200mm. I just didn't need them. This lens could do everything I wanted, and then some. I sold the 70-200 because I no longer need it for telephoto portraits. I now am eyeballing that 100-500mm f4.5-7.1. That would fit my needs for sports, the 28-70 for portraits and most everything, and the 15-35 for wide angle needs. That trinity would fit my needs best and they're all super incredible lenses!!
Little heavy but worth it
Not gonna lie it is a bit heavy. After two weddings I finally got used to it and it does not bother me anymore but at first my wrist and my left arm would hurt like crazy after an eight hour wedding. I am a portrait and wedding photographer and I mainly use this lens for wedding receptions but I did shoot an entire wedding with it this fall. So far absolutely love it and I will continue using it. I definitely use this lens more than My 35 mm and 50 mm and it definitely beats from switching back-and-forth however nothing beats my 85 mm. If you're into the end of year spending or if you're looking for a zoom lens that can replace your 35 and 50 mm then here is your lens. This lens is very sharp and definitely a great addition to my lens collection.
