The Canon KJ10EX4.5B IASE S 2/3" ENG 10x Zoom Lens is a portable lens offering a wide 93.7° horizontal angle of view in a 16:9 HD format. With the built-in 2x extender, this 10x zoom offers focal lengths up to 90mm and a 56.1° FOV. The KJ10EX4.5B has a high MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) over the entire image plane, reduced chromatic aberrations, and improved contrast. A 16-bit rotary encoder provides precision focus, iris, and zoom control, in-camera aberration correction, and compatibility with virtual studio systems.
Wide-Angle Portable ENG Lens
Portable ENG lens suitable for HD reality television, news, and documentary projects.
Built-In 2x Extender
A built-in extender provides a 4.5-90mm total zoom range.
Improved Optical Materials
Optical glass provides improved MTF and contrast ratios and better control over chromatic aberrations and geometric distortion.
Digital Technology
- Enhanced digital drive technology for precise focus, iris, and zoom control plus in-camera lateral chromatic aberration control
- 16-bit rotary encoders for FIZ position detection and virtual system use
- Dynamic zoom speed ranges from 0.5 seconds to 5 minutes
Optomechanical Technology
Redesigned digital drive unit for greater comfort and improved lens control with wider separation between focus, iris, and zoom controls.
Enhanced Digital Drive
Shuttle Shot
By memorizing any two focal lengths, the digital drive can automatically "shuttle" between the two points, moving in either direction.
Framing Preset
An angle of view can be preset in either of two memories, and the lens will zoom to that position by pushing a simple button. During a performance, framing preset will reproduce the zoom position as often as you like at the highest speed or in a preset zoom speed.
Speed Preset
A specific zoom speed can be preset in the memory, and it is possible to repeat the zoom speed as often as you like by pushing a simple button.
16-Bit Rotary Encoder Device
An integrated 16-bit Rotary Encoder Device in the enhanced digital drive unit enables this lens to be integrated into a virtual studio system without any additions.
