CAMVATE Single Handgrip Overview
This L-Type NATO Handle Grip from CAMVATE features an integrated NATO rail and NATO clamp for quickly mounting the grip onto a NATO-style camera cage or plate. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes are available for mounting accessories, and a built-in cold shoe provides an additional mounting option for accessories such as a small microphone or LED light.

I think the Red Rock rubber grips are the best, but were not available so, I purchased a couple of these. A little slippery...

This handle grip looks clunky but works very well and has a very good grip for compact 4/3 cameras like my Panasonic Lumix.

I've been using this as an underslung grip for a gimbal and it's been holding up nicely. Feels really solid.

Solid grip; replaceable stud
Nothing much to say other than it's a solid grip and feels good in the hands. I discovered that the stud is removable by once over tightening it and the stud stayed in the device as opposed to the grip. I would consider that a plus as opposed to a problem, since that means the stud is replaceable. Definitely worth noting alongside the fact that the bottom ring also comes out revealing another female thread (see product pictures). It all adds flexibility for adding things like articulating arms if you really felt that need. You could also simply replace the stud with a sturdier double-sided stud as the stock one is hollow. Recommended.
Lov This Handgrip
With Camvate you have to make sure all connections are tight when you build, but for this price I cant justify the Arri costs. If you're an owner operator I think this has tremendous value. It will be a part of my kit for years to come.
