This 1.5' cable is designed to transfer up to 40 Gb/s with Thunderbolt 3 peripherals such as external storage drives and 4096 x 2160 resolution 4K monitors to support demanding workflows such as video editing, 3D modeling, and video game development. With reversible USB Type-C connectors on either end, you don't have to worry about plugging the cable in upside down. The cable also supports up to 100W power deliver, which allows you to keep compatible laptops and portable devices charged while you work. Using the cable to connect two computers directly to each other via their Thunderbolt 3 ports creates a 10 Gb/s Ethernet connection between them to quickly transfer and share files.
