Designed to be your constant companion wherever you go, the Bushnell 10x42 Bone Collector Edition Engage X Binoculars, in RealTree Edge camouflage, are ideal for when you're out birding, hunting, hiking, camping, or enjoying sporting eventsespecially in wide-open spaces where the high magnification really shines. It is wrapped in RealTree Edge camouflage that breaks up the optic's silhouette and blends into the background when you're in the woods.
To help deliver its performance, Bushnell binoculars employ anti-reflection multicoatings and protective exterior coatings on the lead-free glass lens with BAK4 glass on the compact roof prisms. The optical coatings work together to maximize light transmission through the light path, resulting in bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color fidelity and crisp resolution, even in challenging conditions such as at dawn and dusk or when viewing across vast wide open spaces. To further improve the observational experience, the Engage X binoculars are designed with a long eye relief and comfortable exit pupils that make looking through them for long periods comfortable with reduced eyestrain.
Bushnell built the Engage X binoculars to make them easy and comfortable to hold and allow them to withstand the harshest elements. Their chassis is designed to provide an ergonomic and balanced feel in the hand. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to an IPX7 rating, so they are waterproof and resistant to internal fogging if the weather turns or they take an accidental spill in a stream or puddle. Protecting the optical components is a rubber armor accented with textured palm pads that provide a sure and secure grip. For those who experience fatigue when holding large optics for long periods, or to simply eliminate vibrations, the Engage binoculars can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter for easy hands-free use.
- High 10x magnification enables detailed observations of distant subjects
- Larger 42mm objective lenses improve light-gathering ability for enhanced low-light performance such as at dawn and dusk or when peering into dense brush
- Compact roof prism light path ensures the optical tubes remain slim for easier handling without affecting performance
- BAK4 prism glass delivers a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
- Anti-reflection fully multicoated optics improve light transmission, contrast, and color fidelity
- Proprietary EXO exterior lens coatings resist external fogging, scratches, and abrasions while allowing oil, dirt, and sap to be cleaned off without leaving smudges or residue
- Apparent angle of view approaches wide angle to present an immersive and panoramic observational experience with reduced appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics
- 305-foot field of view at 1000 yards
- Closed bridge design provides a solid and stable platform for the internal focus mechanism
- Large slip-resistant center focusing wheel and diopter thumb lever are easy to manipulate in cold and wet weather, even while wearing gloves
- Right-eye dioptric correction allows user to compensate for optical prescription to produce sharper views
- Twist-up click-stop eyecups for easy use with or without eyewear
- Standard 1/4"-20 socket allows the optic to be mounted on a tripod using an optional adapter for hands-free use to eliminate vibrations and arm fatigue
- Exceptional 18mm eye relief improves viewing comfort with reduced eyestrain, especially during long glassing sessions
- 4.2mm exit pupil will cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low light to keep the whole scene in view without vignetting
- Bone Collector edition features the RealTree Edge camouflage pattern and the Bone Collector logo
- Eco-friendly lead-free glass reduces pollution from harmful chemicals
- Ergonomic body design positions the hand over the binocular's center of balance for additional comfort and reduced strain and fatigue
- Protective rubber armor with raised palm pads provides a solid and secure slip-resistant grip
- Nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to an IPX7 rating: Waterproof and capable of temporary submersion in puddles or shallow streams
- Tethered one-piece ocular rainguard and objective lens caps protect lens surfaces without the fear of losing them while using the binocular
