Bubblebee Industries BBI-ILC-M-30 Overview
The Moleskin Invisible Lavalier Microphone Covers from Bubblebee Industries allow you to easily mount and hide your lavalier microphone directly on skin or clothes. Each package consists of 10 black, 10 beige, and 10 white pieces of moleskin fabric and 30 pieces of double-sided sticky tape.
The transparent double-sided tape keeps your microphone and mesh fabric together on one side while sticking directly to skin or clothes on the other side. This allows the microphone to be safely and securely mounted almost anywhere such as under the collar, next to a buttonhole, or under the clothes in the chest area. The covers are designed to conceal a lav while keeping friction noise and frequency loss to a minumum. A small cutout in the tape helps to keep the microphone free of sticky residue.

Great for sonically hiding small wireless mics
These things are amazing at what they do. They are very simple, and greatly reduce clothing rustling noises, and a bit of wind if exposed on the outside of clothing. The overall size are quite small (about 1 sq-in), so plan on using alternate methods of securing the mic cable so it doesn't stress the pad's adhesive (I use small strips of cloth tape starting at least an inch or two from the mic stem to help, and keep the cable from pulling on the mic itself).
Bubblebee makes laving talent a breeze
These are great for adding on top of a lav concealer (which live on my lavs 95% of the time because they are so versatile) to help mitigate wind. Super helpful and easy to use.
It's okay
Purchased these to try and mitigate clothing scratch on our lavalieres and to make it easier to hide them on talent. It's great for mounting to clothing or skin, but do not expect it to reduce clothing scratch noises at all. Kind of disappointed, and will be looking for something else to solve this problem.
