Brightin Star AF 50mm f/1.4 Overview
A bright normal-length prime, the AF 50mm f/1.4 Lens from Brightin Star is a versatile optic well-suited for available-light photography in a variety of situations. The fast f/1.4 maximum aperture offers increased control over depth of field for working with shallow depth of field techniques and also suits working in difficult lighting conditions. An STM motor affords quiet, quick, and accurate autofocus performance. The optical design incorporates two high refractive index and two low dispersion elements, which reduce spherical aberrations and distortion. A high-transparency coating is also applied to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, a USB-C port is integrated in the lens design to permit firmware updates.
