BHPV Angler 1-Light Fashion Kit

The Angler 1-Light Fashion Kit was put together by B&H to allow photographers to fully explore the potential of the unique Beauty Reflector light shaper using a sophisticated flash head. The kit includes an Angler 300W/s monolight, a 5" reflector, an 8' air-cushioned stand, a 16" beauty reflector, a reflector adapter, and a 40-degree grid.

Glamour Flash 300Ws

The Glamour Flash 300Ws Monolight from Angler combines affordability with dependable basic functionality. Power is adjustable from 1/16 to full power over four stops via touchpad buttons. Settings are displayed on the large LED screen. The 100W modeling lamp can be set from full power, for maximum visibility, to Proportional, to simulate power adjustments for previewing your shot. Recycling is a fast 2 seconds and far shorter at reduced power settings. The Glamour Flash has an industry-standard 5/8" receiver that mounts to a wide variety of light stands, while the housing is rubber-coated to provide a grippy surface and protection from impact damage. The flash head can be triggered with the head's test button, a built-in wireless optical slave, or with the included sync cord. The Glamour Flash comes with a user-replaceable flash tube, power cord, 100W modeling lamp, 7" grid reflector and a protective cap.

Light Stand

This aluminum, 8' Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a 4-section light support with sure-twist section locks. If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.

Beauty Reflector

The 16" Beauty Reflector from Angler gets its name from the popularity of this light shaper with fashion and portrait photographers.Recommended for strobes, the light source is bounced off of a centrally positioned deflector and directed to fill the neutral white reflector interior. The result is a signature soft dispersed look, but with crispness, ideal for hair and makeup, that you can't get from umbrellas and softboxes. An added feature is the natural-looking catchlights that appear in the subject's eyes. Optional accessories include a diffusion sock to soften it.

40° Grid

The grid for the 16" Beauty Reflector is a matte black aluminum light shaping accessory that snaps onto the reflector and reduces its wide beam to 40 degrees. The grid controls spill light and gives the user more directional control while adding a bit of contrast to the light quality for a more painterly look.

Beauty Reflector Adapter

The EGD-LPS Beauty Reflector Adapter is a sturdy, interchangeable aluminum alloy mount that allows you to use your flash with this Angler reflector. Besides The Glamour Flash Head in this kit, it is also compatible with Interfit Stellar, Bowens, Calumet Travelite, Cowboy, JTL, Photoflex, Rime Lite, Impact monolights, and Westcott flash heads.
