Works great for dual screen, but USB laggy + heats
I just bought and installed the product on my Dell XPS 7590 using my thunderbolt 3. I'm running 3 screens in total, two on the docking station and one on the laptop. Good stuff: -Screens are working perfectly fine -Simple to install Bad stuff: -Short docking station cable (I'm not taking out any stars since I knew it in the product specs when I bought it) -The USB are buggy and laggy. I have two wireless dongles for mouse and keyboard on them, the mouse is just freezing and unfreezing sporadically, which is extremely annoying. I've changed the mouse dongle directly in the USB of the laptop and the mouse if working fine there, but in defies the purpose of a docking station...(minus 1.5 star) -The docking station gets really hot with the 3 screens ON, that I'm afraid it will eventually burn (temperature is around 60C). I've put on top of the docking station a copper heat sink from an old CPU to cool it down, and that helps a lot of managing the temperature (minus 0.5 star). For the price, I do recommended it but if you are looking for something perfect, get something else as it clearly lacks of refinement & quality. Hope it helps Cheers
Great Product, Terrible Output
I received this dock in relation to my 2021 MacBook Pro 16" for work. I am on Big Sur 11.4. This dock would not recognize the HDMI ports being used to any monitor or TV, the USB ports being used, nor did it recognize the power over ethernet line. Really disappointed in this product for the price. I also found the Thunderbolt 3 cord is too short for my needs, I need something longer (1-2 meters). I should have had the larger HD Dock ordered instead. I did like the quality of this dock, which Belkin is always known for, but this was a big disappointment that it did not work out of the box and I will be returning this for something else.
Does not work with Surface Pro7 and Pro7+Devices
Bought 3 units from CDW to connect Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro 7+ devices at work. Description says compatible with windows devices but when I connect it to Surface USB-C I get a message device functionality may be limited. Can not get it to work. Now I have 3 expensive paper weights.
Causes Macbook Pro 2020 Crash on Disconnect
This adapter seems like a nice option, but I have had very serious issues with it and had to stop using it. Every time I disconnected it from my macbook pro, the computer would hard reboot and show the black screen of death "your computer restarted because of a problem". In addition to this, I had issues getting the USB ports to connect to anything from the start (would intermittently disconnect for no reason). Never tried the ethernet port but even when I was only using this for HDMI I would get crash on disconnect. I switched to the apple adapter and have had zero issues since then. Do not buy this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and decided to try it out by plugging it directly into my dell docking station. The thunderbolt software on my dock immediately detected the unit. I plugged in an additional monitor to this unit and now I have 3 monitors. So excited. I�m thinking of purchasing one more monitor for a quad setup!
Works great, easy set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for working from home. It has been great to have 2 HDMI ports and I am able to run both of my 4k monitors simultaneously with out any issue. This dock was very easy to set up, and works as expected. The dock itself is a good size and doesn't take up much space. I am happy with the speed and quality.
Just Works
Have used various hdmi adapters for my external monitors. All which failed at some point. Was reluctant to spend the money for a higher quality adapter. This was plug and play and has been flawless. Well worth it.
Product is Unstable Does NOT Provide USB Support
Bought two of the devices for my home office and my office so I could use two displays with my laptop without using DisplayLink systems or drivers. Laptop is a new ASUS Zenbook running W10 Pro with all updates current. Both offices use a Microsoft 850 wireless keyboard and mouse with USB dongle. USB2.0 and USB3.0 DO NOT work with keyboard/mouse or any other USB peripheral such as a standard flash drive. Does not work even if using a powered USB hub between the peripheral and dock. Technical support is what you would expect from a offshore call center. The problem can easily be found in the forum. I continue to use the docks because they do allow the two external monitors to work as needed - without DisplayLink. Even here, I have daily, sometimes twice or three times a day where the two external screens go dark for a couple of seconds then come back where they left off -- like the dock rebooted. Also, ever other day or so, I find that one displays starts jumping around to the point of being unusable and I have to unplug the dock and then plug back in to reset.
