Axis Communications P8815-2 Overview
Implement 3D people counting at the entrance and exit of a retail environment or public building with the black P8815-2 1080p 3D People Counter from Axis Communications. This unit combines 3D imaging software and hardware in one device to automatically count the number of people passing through a predefined area. It estimates occupancy levels in real time and provides data insights to help you understand visitor trends. The P8815-2 features a 1/2.9" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor to capture 1920 x 1080 resolution video at up to 30 fps. Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. The unit records directly to network-attached storage.
This device complies with ONVIF profiles G and S, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is optimized to work in challenging conditions, such as when shadows, strong sunlight, glares, or high volumes of foot traffic are present.
