At the core of the S4 is the Master Touch Module (MTM). It gives you quick access to your mix and control parameters through a tilting 12.1" multipoint touchscreen, eight adjacent rotary encoders, and other dedicated knobs and keys.

The Master Automation Module (MAM) offers a full transport control, shuttle/jog wheel, focus fader, automation control, numeric keypad, and other keys and switches to help you navigate and automate your projects easily.

Two Channel Strip Modules (CSM), each with eight channel faders and 32 top-lit knobs (four per channel), allow you to control track levels, plug-ins, and other parameters.

Customize the Surface for Your Needs

The S4's semi-modular design lets you customize your surface with additional modules to suit your workflow and expand your creative capabilities.

Add the Joystick Module to mix surround sound and immersive audio projects, including Dolby Atmos and Ambisonics, using dual touch-sensitive joysticks, and TFT and OLED displays, to position sounds with precision.

Add the Post module to help complete post projects faster and enable you to switch between listening to recorded tracks/stems and their inputs through two rows of 10 PEC/Direct paddles, and ensure they sound identical before punching in to record.

Add the Attention Knob module to your surface, and get 32 additional top-lit knobs, providing additional assignable controls and visual feedback for adjusting attention track functions, including plug-ins, EQ, Dynamics, and pan.

This 4' base frame supports up to three Display Modules, providing extensive visual feedback of your session. From channel meters, groups, EQ curves, and automation data, to scrolling high-resolution Pro Tools waveforms (which can be edited right from the surface), you gain better insight into every aspect of your session, allowing yourself to mix with confidence.
