Auray WLM-EC77-2 Overview
This Metal Windscreen from Auray is designed to fit the Sony ECM-77 lavalier microphone. The windscreen can be used indoors or outdoors for minimizing noise caused by wind and vocal plosives while also providing protection from dirt and moisture. Its metal grill also protects the microphone from shock. Two windscreens are included.

Good but overly tight fit.
Good quality product except it has overly snug fit on the mic making it not reasonably suited for taking on and off to invert the position of the mic clip. I bought it knowing this from prior reviews, but I enlarged the opening ever so slightly by sanding the inside with a Dremel attachment. It took only a few minutes & worked fine, but it would be easy to sand too much and make it prone to fall off. I would give it five stars if not for this.
Too snug
I bought these for my Sony Mics. They fit too snug and are nearly impossible to remove. This is an issue because you often need to remove them as Men's and Women's shirts button on different sides, hence you need to adjust the clip fairly often.

locked on tight
These work nicely, but when they are on the ECM-77BMP, they are locked on tight. One has to be very careful in removing these with the aid of tools because you do not want to damage the mic capsule. If you need to remove it in order to conceal the mic capsule under clothing for example, it can be a real pain to get these off once they are on the mic. The OEM ones are a more expensive, but they fit a lot better. So, get the originals and don't lose them!
Pretty much like the name brand but cost much less
If you are looking for a replacement for the name brand version of these windscreens, look no further. They are nearly identical and cost a lot less. Good to have a couple of extras in the kit since these undoubtedly will get lost at some point.
